Ordering
How do I place an order?
Browse our Shop, find the battery that matches your device, select the correct model, and click “Add to Cart.” When ready, click the shopping cart icon and proceed to checkout. You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order is placed.
How do I find the right battery for my device?
You can search by your device brand and model on our website. For the most accurate match, we recommend checking your original battery’s part number — it’s usually printed on the battery label (e.g., “L17M3PB0” for a Lenovo laptop, “BL1860B” for a Makita tool). If you’re unsure, email us at info@nodebattery.com with your device model and battery part number, and we’ll confirm compatibility for you.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
We process orders quickly — please contact us within 2 hours of placing your order for any changes or cancellations. Email info@nodebattery.com with your order number. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be modified or cancelled.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are processed securely through SSL-encrypted connections and PCI-compliant payment gateways.
My payment was declined. What should I do?
First, verify your card details are correct. If the issue persists, try an alternative payment method or contact your bank. The decline often relates to your bank’s fraud protection — they may need authorization for an international transaction.
Compatibility
Are NodeBattery products original manufacturer (OEM) batteries?
No. Our batteries are high-quality third-party replacements manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications. We use grade-A cells, precision BMS (Battery Management System) boards, and rigorous testing to ensure safety and performance. Brand names and model numbers are used on our site for compatibility identification only.
Will a replacement battery work with my device’s original charger?
Yes. Our batteries are designed to work seamlessly with your device’s original charger and power management system. Always use the charger specified by your device manufacturer.
What if I order the wrong battery?
If you realize the mistake before the order ships, contact us immediately to change it. If you’ve already received it, you can return the unused battery within 30 days (see Returns section). To avoid this, always double-check your device model and original battery part number before ordering.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically takes 7–15 business days to the United States and 10–25 business days for other international destinations. Please note that lithium battery shipments may take slightly longer on some routes due to mandatory ground/sea transport requirements. Exact timeframes are displayed at checkout based on your location.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders! No matter where you are, you pay zero shipping fees.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship to most countries worldwide. However, some countries have strict regulations on lithium battery imports that may affect delivery. We cover all shipping costs and any applicable customs duties or import taxes — the price you see at checkout is the final price. If shipping restrictions prevent delivery to your location, we’ll notify you and provide a full refund.
Are there restrictions on shipping lithium batteries?
Yes. All our batteries are shipped in compliance with international dangerous goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR) and UN 38.3 testing standards. This means: delivery to certain remote regions, military addresses (APO/FPO), or P.O. Boxes may not be available; air transport may be restricted on some routes — ground/sea shipping may be used instead, which can add a few extra days; some countries prohibit or strictly limit lithium battery imports. If any of these affect your order, we will contact you directly.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can also track your order using your order number and email address on our website.
My package says “delivered” but I didn’t receive it.
First, check around your property (porch, side door, mailbox, front desk). Ask neighbors and household members. If you still can’t locate it, contact us within 48 hours and we’ll work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
Returns & Warranty
What is your return policy?
You may return unused items within 30 days of delivery. For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of batteries that have been installed, used, or whose packaging has been opened — as we can no longer verify their safety or condition. Items must be in original packaging and in the same condition as received.
How do I return an item?
Email us at info@nodebattery.com with your order number, the item you’d like to return, and the reason. We’ll provide a return authorization and shipping instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
Who pays for return shipping?
If the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product), we cover return shipping. For all other returns (e.g., ordered the wrong model), return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
What warranty do you offer?
All NodeBattery products come with a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase. This covers manufacturing defects including: premature capacity loss (below 60% of rated capacity), failure to charge or hold a charge, and physical defects affecting safe operation. For full warranty terms, see our Terms & Conditions.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Email us at info@nodebattery.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos/video if applicable. Our team will review your claim and respond within 2 business days. Approved claims will receive a replacement or refund.
When will I receive my refund?
After we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the result. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
I received a damaged or defective item.
We’re sorry about that! Please email us within 7 days of delivery at info@nodebattery.com. Include your order number, a description, and photos of the damage/defect. We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund promptly.
I received the wrong battery.
Our apologies! Contact us immediately with your order number and a photo of what you received. We’ll ship the correct battery right away and provide instructions for returning the incorrect one at our expense.
Battery Care & Safety
Safety First: Lithium-ion batteries contain flammable electrolytes and must be handled with care. Always follow the safety guidelines below to protect yourself, your device, and your surroundings.
How should I care for my new battery?
For optimal performance and lifespan:
- Use the charger specified by your device manufacturer.
- Avoid fully draining the battery (0%) regularly — lithium-ion batteries prefer partial discharges.
- If storing for extended periods, keep the battery at approximately 40–60% charge in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid exposing batteries to extreme heat (e.g., leaving in a hot car) or cold.
- Keep battery contacts clean and free of debris.
- The first few charge cycles may show slightly lower runtime — this is normal as the battery calibrates with your device.
How long should my battery last?
Battery lifespan varies by device type and usage patterns. Laptop batteries typically last 300–500 charge cycles (roughly 2–4 years of regular use), while power tool batteries vary based on workload intensity. All rechargeable batteries naturally lose capacity over time — gradual capacity decline is normal and not a defect. If your battery loses more than 40% of its capacity within the 12-month warranty period under normal use, contact us for a warranty claim.
Why does my battery get warm during use or charging?
Some warmth during charging and heavy use is normal, especially for high-drain devices like power tools. However, if the battery becomes hot to the touch (uncomfortable to hold), produces an unusual odor, or shows signs of swelling, stop using it immediately and contact us. These could be signs of a malfunction.
What should I do if my battery swells?
Stop using it immediately. Swelling indicates internal cell failure. Do not puncture, compress, or attempt to charge a swollen battery. Place it in a cool, non-flammable area away from combustible materials and contact us right away. Do not dispose of a swollen battery in regular trash — it requires special handling.
How do I dispose of an old battery?
Never throw lithium-ion batteries in household trash. Most electronics retailers, hardware stores, and municipal waste facilities offer free battery recycling. In the US, visit Call2Recycle.org to find a drop-off location near you. Proper disposal protects the environment and prevents fire hazards.
Can I use my device while the battery is charging?
Yes, for most devices (laptops, phones) this is perfectly fine. However, for power tools and high-drain devices, we recommend letting the battery cool down after heavy use before recharging, and avoiding simultaneous heavy use and charging for extended periods — this generates extra heat which can reduce battery lifespan.
OEM/ODM & Bulk Orders
Do you offer custom battery manufacturing?
Yes! We have our own manufacturing facility with over 10 years of OEM/ODM experience. We can produce custom batteries to your specifications — voltage, capacity, dimensions, connector type, and packaging. We serve businesses ranging from repair chains and equipment manufacturers to private-label brands. Services include full BMS design, cell sourcing, enclosure tooling, and compliance testing (UN 38.3, CE, RoHS, MSDS).
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom batteries?
MOQ varies by product complexity — generally starting from 100–500 units for standard battery types and 1,000+ for fully custom designs requiring new tooling. Contact us at info@nodebattery.com with your requirements and we’ll provide a tailored quote.
I’m a business — do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
Yes! For bulk orders of existing products or custom manufacturing projects, we offer volume-based pricing, inventory sharing (VMI programs), and long-term partnership benefits. Contact our team at info@nodebattery.com with your requirements for a quote.
How does the OEM/ODM process work?
Our typical process: (1) You provide your specifications (voltage, capacity, size, connector, etc.) and target quantity; (2) We provide a technical proposal and quote; (3) Upon approval, we produce engineering samples (typically 2–4 weeks); (4) You test and approve the samples; (5) We proceed to mass production (lead time varies by quantity, typically 4–8 weeks). Throughout the process, we provide compliance test reports and quality documentation.

Do I need an account to place an order?
No, you can check out as a guest. However, creating an account lets you track orders faster, save your shipping details for future purchases, and access your order history.
How is my personal information handled?
We take your privacy seriously. We never sell or share your personal information except as needed to fulfill your order (payment processing, shipping). For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.
